What is wrong with the logical arguments of men which define God differently? Paul's arguments in the first chapter of Romans helps to explain much of this, but in simple terms, man's soul and conscience is defiled by sin.

1:15
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who
are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience
are defiled. NKJV
The Bible recognizes the short-comings of men. But, the Bible does not condone this short-coming. Man is responsible for his sin.
Man has been created in the image of God
Genesis
1:26-28
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image,
according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the
sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth
and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27 So God created
man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male
and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to
them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion
over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living
thing that moves on the earth." NKJV
This image is tarnished, but a new relationship with God through Jesus Christ restores the image. And, it is important to remember that this image is spiritual and not physical

according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
