An article from the New York Times talks of a new, hidden code buried within DNA. Maybe there is more to Creation than just a few molecules?

So, the New York Times reports that scientists have found a new, hidden code buried among the DNA strands. The article is here. This new code, they theorize, may help cells act as what type of cell they are -- such as a hair cell knowing it is hair, a bone cell knowing it is a knee bone and so on.

What strikes me is that in all this time of reading articles about the identification of the DNA chain, this is the first hint that there is someting more "there" than just DNA. There is a code within the code.

Does this mean the inner code has another code? Or that there are other codes hidden away within the basic DNA code? How much more do scientists no know? Everyone desires to use genetics as a basis for improving life, for curing deseases. This is admirable.

Yet, what will they create if they do not even understand and know what they are actually working with? Is Frankenstein accidently around the corner? Or something worse -- a life that technically lives but does nothing else?

To my simple mind, this is just another example of how complex God has made life. Life is so complex that man's best efforts can never understand what is going on. Man is not the Creator. Man will never be the Creator. In fact, I picture God sitting in heaven enjoying a good laugh every time another scientist adds to the list of discoveries. I can envision God sitting there with a list of another hundred or thousand or million codes that man must understand before he could truly create life.

Yet, man thinks he evolved from some goo. Amazing how dumb man really is.

Thank you Jesus for putting up with us all of this time. We really are an arrogant group of living creations.
