The world likes to study the things the world likes. While promoting its own agenda, the world is busy proving God's Way is the Truth.

I pray for stamina and energy. If I had more stamina, I could accomplish a great deal more than I do.  For example, I could post my blog opinions more often. There is always something floating around in the news to talk about from a spiritual perspective. This is good practice.

One of the great attributes possessed by gifted evangelists is the ability to turn any conversation to spiritual matters. i spent some time, once upon a time, rooming with a Pentecostal preacher who was the best person I have known at accomplish this conversation event. Give Jim three or four minutes and he would be talking about God, heaven, hell, the Bible, and Jesus.

You can practice this by picking up a newspaper, finding the semi-news, feel good stories and turn the story into a conversation. Practice turning the conversation toward God.

As an example, there is a blog note floating around the web today concerning a new study that once again demonstrates and / or proves that sexual intercourse is good for you. Of course, the implicit point behind the story is simply that sex is good. You can work out the world's conclusion.

I could not help but notice an interesting conversation point buried in the article I read (story is here). While the story is not about homosexual activity, one has a good starting point for arguing that God's ways are the true ways. I say this because the article clearly states that male-female intercourse "is the only sexual behaviour consistently associated with better psychological and physiological health".

Sounds to me like the corollary to that would be that all other sexual behaviors are bad for your health. Provides a good reason not to engage in abnormal sexual behavior. While this does not allow us to argue against sexual behavior outside of marriage, it certainly provides a good starting point to argue against all of those practices true Bible believing Chrsitians consider to be abnormal.
