Psalm
8:1-4
1 O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in
all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! 2 Out of the
mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because
of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. 3 When
I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars,
which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And
the son of man that You visit him?

Doctrines are all composites of Bible passages. We must frequently visit a variety of verses to obtain a true picture of a given attribute.
Majesty might be seen as the breadth and awesomeness of God. It is often akin to God's glory. The words translated majesty can be translated as glory, grandeur, greatness, and magnificence. God's glory and majesty is great and big and wide and high. It is an overpowering glory that cannot be truly conceived of by humans.
In the Old Testament God's glory is pictured as the cloud that occupies the Tabernacle (and later the Temple) and as the pillar of fire that follows the Israelites through the wilderness:
Exodus 40:34-38
34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 36 Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go onward in all their journeys. 37 But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it was taken up. 38 For the cloud of the Lord was above the tabernacle by day, and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys. NKJV
The idea is the greatness and dignity of God combined with His awesome power.
Jude 25
To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. NKJV
What may be said of the majesty and glory of God is that it is the outward illumination or manifestation of God's inner being. God's majesty and glory are shown to men.
Isaiah 40:5
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. NKJV
But it is important to remember that not all of God's glory has been seen. Moses could only look on a portion of God's majesty.
Exodus 33:18-23
18 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” 19 Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” 20 But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” 21 And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. 22 So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. 23 Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.” NKJV
So, God has prepared the heavens for us to enjoy and to reveal His majesty. So, too, did He send Jesus for much the same purpose.
Isaiah 42:8
8 I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. NKJV
