Grace

Grace is of God

1 Corinthians 15:10
But by God’s grace I am what I am, and the grace that he gave me was not without effect. On the contrary, I have worked harder than any of the other apostles, although it was not really my own doing, but God’s grace working with me. But by God’s grace I am what I am, and the grace that he gave me was not without effect. On the contrary, I have worked harder than any of the other apostles, although it was not really my own doing, but God’s grace working with me.

Every step of this process is accomplished by grace!!!

2 Peter 3:18
18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. NKJV

Our election is a choice of grace (Romans 11:5) made in eternity past by grace (Eph 1:4)

We have nothing to do with salvation (Rom 10:6-8; Eph 2:9)

The entire work of Christ is by grace (Heb 2:9)

Our redemption is by grace (Eph 1:7)

Our calling is by grace (Rom 8:28-30)

Our drawing to God is by grace (Gal 1:150

Our justification is by grace (Rom 3:24)

Our righteousness is by grace (Titus 3:7; Rom 3:24)

Our salvation is by grace (Eph 2:8)

Our growth is by grace (Rom 8:28; Acts 13:43; 18:27; 1 Cor 15:10)

Our security in God is by grace (Rom 5:1-2)

Our sustaining power in God is by grace (2 Cor 12:9; James 4:6)

Our ministries are enabled by grace (Eph 4:7; 1 Pet 4:10)

If salvation is a lifelong process, and if salvation is by grace, then grace and salvation become almost equal terms. Indeed, the Gospel is called both the gospel of salvation (Eph 1:13) and the gospel of grace (Acts 20:24). Indeed, the Scriptures are called the Word of His grace (Acts 14:3).

Ephesians 2:1-10
1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. NKJV
