Grace

Stewards of Grace

Hebrews 4:16
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it.
NLT

We are to be good stewards of the grace of God. This should produce the leading, perhaps only, principle we ever require to lead our lives on earth. God has saved us to bring glory and grace to Him!

Ephesians 1:6
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. NKJV

How do you live your life?

Do you help the weak brother or hinder him? (Rom 14)

Do you only speak “good words?” (Eph 4:29)

Do you always love your neighbor?

Do you always think good thoughts? (Phil 4:8)

Do you always repay evil with good? (Rom 12:21)

To summarize, grace should be the dominant theme of a Christian’s life. Grace is:

The method of salvation

The method of sanctification

The motive and method of Christian service

The standard of all Christian behavior and teaching

The great equalizer among believers

The key to understanding the Old Testament

The key to a fruitful and productive Christian life.

God is not just a God of grace – God is grace!

We should not just be Christians who exercise grace -- we must be grace!
