Luke 19:9-10
9 Then Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this household, since he too is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."

Salvation is the broader concept or umbrella which covers all redemption events from the actions of God and Jesus in drawing an non-believer to the "salvation experience" (being "born again") to the final glorification of a believer in heaven at the Second Coming of Jesus.
