Just Another Cult

Deuteronomy 13:13-15
13 ‘Corrupt men have gone out from among you and enticed the inhabitants of their city, saying, “Let us go and serve other gods” ’—which you have not known— 14 then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And if it is indeed true and certain that such an abomination was committed among you, 15 you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it, all that is in it and its livestock—with the edge of the sword.

We have the words of God – the Bible. We must learn to believe all of these Words. We have demonstrated the Bible shows God to be sovereign. The Bible teaches that God knows the future – all of the future. The Bible teaches that God is never, ever wrong.

These are the Words of the Bible. We may not understand what they all mean or how they all operate together or how God acts, but we must believe they are the Words of God.  This means we must believe all of the doctrines of Scripture are the doctrines of God. If we question any of them, we are denying the Person of God.  Neotheists deny large parts of these Words.

In the end, neotheism is just another cult among many.

We are not to destroy their cities as the above instructions given to Israel, but certainly we must not follow their teachings!

Who do you say Jesus is?
